- Demineralization Plants
Reverse Osmosis

Reverse
osmosis (RO) is membrane separation process that removes dissolved ionic
solids. Reverse osmosis is the process of pushing a solution through a
filter that traps the solute on one side and allows the pure solvent to be
obtained from the other side. More formally, it is the process of forcing a
solvent from a region of high solute concentration through a membrane to a
region of low solute concentration by applying a pressure in excess of the
osmotic pressure .The membrane here is semi permeable, meaning it allows the
passage of solvent but not of solute. The water goes into solution in the
polymer of which the membrane is manufactured, and crosses it by diffusion
.This process requires that a high pressure be exerted on the high
concentration side of the membrane.
Ultra Filtration

Ultra
filtration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic
pressure forces a liquid against a semi permeable membrane. Suspended solids
and solutes of high molecular weight are retained, while water and low
molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane. Ultrafiltration is not
fundamentally different from reverse osmosis, microfiltration or
nanofiltration, except in terms of the size of the molecules it retains.
Desalination

Desalination
is a process that removes dissolved minerals from seawater, brackish water
,or treated wastewater. A number of technologies have been developed for
desalination ,including reverse osmosis (RO), distillation, electro dialysis
and vacuum freezing Two of these technologies ,R0 and distillation are
mostly being used all over the world.
Nanofiltration

Nanofiltration
is a special process selected when RO and UF are not the ideal choice of
separation. NF can perform separation applications that are not otherwise
economically feasible, such as demineralization, color removal and
desalination In concentration of organic solutes ,suspended solids, and
polyvalent ions ,the permeate contains monovalent ions and
low-molecular-weight organic solutions like alcohol.
Carbon Filters
Carbon filtering is commonly used for
water purification and also used in air purifiers. Carbon filters provide
fresh water and are easy to operate. These filters are most effective at
removing chlorine, sediment, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from
water. They are not effective at removing minerals, salts, and dissolved
inorganic compounds. The particle sizes that can be removed by carbon
filters range from 0.5 to 50 micrometres. The efficacy of a carbon filter is
also based upon the flow rate regulation. Carbon filters are used in
individual homes as point-of-use water filters and also used as
pre-treatment devices for reverse osmosis systems. Further, these filters
are appreciated for their durability, simple installation and reliable
performance.
Industrial Filters
Filtration is used to separate particles
and fluid in a suspension, where the fluid can be a liquid, a gas or a
supercritical fluid. The industrial filter works on principle of retention
and removal of physical impurity in a graded manner through voids of the
filtering media. Industrial filters use advance technology and high quality
equipments for filtration. These filters are used in various industries like
Oil and Petroleum, Pharmaceutical, Refrigeration and Air Filtration, etc.
Selection of filters depend upon various factors that include piping size,
operating temperature, maximum flow rate, minimum and maximum operating
pressure, contaminants to be removed, degree of filtration desired, etc.
Moreover, these filters are highly acknowledged for their salient features
that include durability, high efficiency, smooth functioning, reasonable
prices, etc.
Softeners
Water softeners are used to remove the
hardness of water and imparting impurities. Water softening is the reduction
of the concentration of calcium, magnesium, and other ions in hard water.
These "hardness ions" can cause a variety of undesired effects
including interfering with the action of soaps, the build up of limescale,
which can foul plumbing, and galvanic corrosion. Water Softeners that are
used in homes are depend on an ion-exchange resin in which hardness ions are
exchanged for sodium ions. Water softening may be desirable where the source
of water is hard. However, hard water also conveys some benefits to health
by providing dietary calcium and magnesium and reducing the solubility of
potentially toxic metal ions such as lead and copper.
Demineralization Plants
Demineralization is the removal of
minerals and mineral salts from water. Demineralization Plants use latest
technology and are effectively used for removing mineral salts from water by
using the ion exchange process. These plants exchange all cations and anions
during Ion Exchange process, which consists of either twin bed or with mixed
bed polisher. The charged resins exchanges hydrogen (H+) ions with all
cations and hydroxyl (OH?) ions with all anions to de-ionize the water.
These are widely used in applications like pharmaceutical plants, medical
facilities, dialysis centers, and other industrial applications.
Waste Water Treatment
Plants
Backed by rich industrial experience, we offer
various Waste Water Treatment Plants, which are used for different water
treatment applications. We offer these plants as per the given information
by our clients and these products are available at industry leading prices
to our respected clients. Range of our water treatments includes Sewage
Treatment Plants, Effluent Treatment Plants.
Sewage Treatment Plants

Sewage
is waste water released by residences, businesses & industries. Our
precision designed and developed sewage treatment plants help in reducing or
removing organic matter, solids, nutrients, disease-causing organisms and
other pollutants from waste water. The offered plants are designed to
deliver superior physical separation of solids from raw waste water stream.
This is followed by progressive conversion of dissolved biological matter in
solid biological mass using indigenous, water - borne bacteria.
Once the biological mass is separated or removed, the treated water may
undergo additional disinfection via chemical or physical processes This
final effluent can then be discharged or re-introduced back into a natural
surface water body (stream, river or day) and the water is further treated
to be used for horticulture flushing, cooling towers & other auxiliary
purposes.
The various stages of treatment are as
Screening & Equilisation
Waste water will flow through a bar screen chamber & oil & grease
trap where large particles ,oil & grease is separated .The equalization
tank is provided to nuetralise the peak flows and maintain a constant flow
of plant.
Aeration
From the equalization tank , The waste is transferred to the aeration tank
where it will be mixed with living organisms also called MLSS (Mixed Liquor
Suspended Solids) in presence of air. The aeration system shall be designed
in a way so as to achieve complete mixing of organisms with raw sewage.
Clarifications
From the aeration tank this mixed liquor passes into the secondary
clarifier where the excess sludge is separated from the liquid.
Disinfection
The addition of a chlorine solution kills any pathogenic microscopic
life,such as bacteria or viruses.
Filtration
Any remaining particles are trapped and removed during filtration. The
almost clear water from the aeration tank is pumped into the pressure
filters containing anthracite and activated carbon.
Kinds of Plants
